Man arrested for burglary, fleeing police

A man accused of staying in a vacant home that doesn’t belong to him was arrested Tuesday by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department for burglary and fleeing from police charges.

Detective Mark Reid arrested 53-year old Ronald Bradford of Hopkinsville, with the report saying he had lived off and on at a vacant home located at 2009 Carl Smith Road.

Police say his social security card and a Tennessee identification card with his name on it were located in the home. There have also been multiple thefts from the residence over the last year.

Bradford ran from police who were attempting to investigate the incidents in June, according to the report, which says he fled from a camper parked between 2005 and 2007 Carl Smith Road.

He’s charged with second-degree burglary and fleeing or evading police.

He was additionally served with multiple warrants for failing to appear in court.
