Last night’s National League action: Dakota Hudson fired seven innings of one-run ball as the St. Louis Cardinals cruised past the Miami Marlins 7-1. The Cardinals go for the series sweep tonight in Miami.

Charlie Blackmon drilled a three-run homer in a five-run sixth as the Colorado Rockies smashed the Chicago Cubs 10-3 at Coors Field. The series concludes this afternoon in Denver.

The Atlanta Braves homered five times as they beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-5 in a rain-shortened game at Sun Trust Park. The game was called following a 1-hour, 48-minute rain delay after the eighth inning. The series continues tonight.
