A young woman was killed and another person was injured in a fire early Wednesday morning in Murray.
WENK Radio reports it happened about 4:30 a.m. at a residence in the Riviera Courts Mobile Home Community and that the residence was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. The victim who was killed has been identified as 19-year old Lanie Gray.
A second person in the home sustained minor burns and injuries.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation and an autopsy on Gray was scheduled at the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office in Madisonville.
