Highlighted by offensive tackle Mekhi Becton, four University of Louisville football standouts have been named preseason All-ACC by Phil Steele in his 2019 College Football Preview. Becton earned first-team honors, while wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick, linebacker CJ Avery and kick returner Hassan Hall were named to the fourth team. The Cardinals open the 2019 season Monday September 2nd against Notre Dame, who will make its first ever appearance in Cardinal Stadium.
