Additional details have been released on a fiery, single-vehicle fatality accident that happened Monday morning on KY 181 in northern Todd County.

It happened shortly before 6 a.m. about a mile north of Highland Lick Road, according to Kentucky State Police, who say the car had been headed south when it left the shoulder of the southbound lane.

The vehicle traveled down an embankment, struck a tree and caught fire.
