Elsewhere in the OVL last night: The Franklin Duelers got their first no hitter as the Duelers blanked Madisonville 11-0 in seven innings. Brant Alazaus struck out 10 batters in not allowing the Miners a hit. Other action saw Owensboro crush Fulton 13-2 also in seven innings with Dubois County’s home date with Muhlenberg County rained out.
Tonight in the OVL: Madisonville welcomes Muhlenberg County, Franklin travels to Fulton and Paducah goes to Henderson.
OVL Standings: Paducah leads the West Division at 4-1, with the Hoppers in second at 3-3 and 1 ½ games back with Fulton third at 2-3 and Madisonville 1-4.
Owensboro leads the East Division and has the best record in the OVL at 5-1, Henderson is second at 3-2 with Dubois County and Franklin at 2-3 and Muhlenberg County is 1-3.
