Quarterfinal play continued Thursday at the KHSAA State Tournament in Lexington. Third Region winner Breckinridge County downed Beechwood 10-6 in 8 innings, with Tates Creek edging Pleasure Ridge Park 3-2.1st Region winner McCracken County slid by Rowan County 2-1 with the Hazard- Trinity game rained out. That game will take place at 10 am Hopkinsville time today with the semifinals to be played later this afternoon.
Breckinridge County will meet Tates Creek in the first semifinal, with McCracken County going against the Hazard-Trinity winner. The championship game is scheduled for tomorrow.
