MLB Roundup: Reds, Cubs & Braves win Tuesday

Luis Castillo allowed two hits and one run over six innings to pitch the Cincinnati Reds to a 4-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Yasiel Puig homered and José Peraza drove in two runs for the Reds. The teams play again tonight at Busch Stadium.

Elsewhere in the National League: Kyle Schwarber and Javy Baez homered as the Chicago Cubs doubled up the Colorado Rockies 6-3 at Wrigley Field. The teams play again this evening.

The Atlanta Braves scored three times in each of the last three innings to pull away for a 12-5 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park. Austin Riley hit a go-ahead, three-run homer in the seventh, Josh Donaldson added a three-run shot in the eighth, and Freddie Freeman hit a two-run blast in the ninth for Atlanta. The teams face off again tonight.
