Heavy rain is expected to return to western Kentucky over the next several days.
Two-to-three inches of rain is expected across all of western Kentucky between Wednesday and Sunday, with the highest amounts likely Friday afternoon, evening and Saturday.
Up to four inches of rain could fall in some places—especially the farther west you go.
While a major flooding event is not expected, some flash flooding could occur in low lying areas and areas prone to standing water.
