Hopkinsville police arrested a Cadiz man Thursday morning for felony drug possession.
Officers were dispatched to Dell Drive at about 9:40 a.m. to investigate a suspicious person and located 27-year old Nicolas Jenkins of Cadiz.
Jenkins allegedly tried to hide a small container of pills in his vehicle and a search during his arrest revealed a red straw in his pocket commonly used to snort controlled substances, according to the report.
Jenkins was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.
