A Hopkinsville man sought on a warrant was arrested for methamphetamine charges Friday morning.
City police officers went to a South Virginia Street location to arrest 24-year old Aaron Cornish at about 9 a.m. and served him with the warrant for parole violation.
An arrest citation says Cornish concealed a needle on his person while in the patrol vehicle. The needle was located and he told jail personnel that he also had meth on a necklace in his possession before he went through the body scanner.
Cornish was additionally charged with promoting contraband, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.
