Jeffers Bend Environmental Center will host its open house Saturday evening.
It will be from 6 until 8 p.m. at the facility off Metcalfe Lane and Charles Turner says they will dedicate their new botanical garden.
He says like many other activities and offerings at Jeffers Bend, volunteers make the garden possible.
There will be tours of the Jeffers Bend facilities, activities for children, refreshments, drawings and more. The public is invited to attend the free event.
