Fire destroyed a home in Oak Grove Thursday night.
Oak Grove firefighters arrived at 823 Stableford Lane just before 7:30 p.m. and found heavy black smoke coming from the home, according to emergency radio traffic, which indicated the residence was unoccupied. Siding was damaged on a home next door.
An ambulance was called to evaluate a 22-year old man possibly suffering from smoke inhalation after going inside to look for any possible occupants.
Firefighters from Pembroke and Fort Campbell were called to assist with fighting the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
