The Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for the return of their popular Movies In the Park series, starting with Mary Poppins Returns at DeBow Park Friday evening.
Appearing on WHOP, Coordinator Toby Hudson says the movie starts at 8 p.m. Friday at DeBow Recreational Complex, and there will be food trucks and other concessions on site.
He says families can bring blankets and chairs, or they can even sit in their car and listen to the movie through their radio for a true drive-in experience.
Movies In the Park last through August, with the big screen moving to different locations throughout the city to give everyone a chance to enjoy. Chris Jung with Parks and Recreation says they have a full line up of popular movies this year.
All movies are totally free to attend. For more information, contact the Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation Department at 270-887-4290.
