A Clarksville man has been charged with fleeing or evading following a pursuit early Monday morning by the Hopkinsville Police Department.
According to the police report, 37-year old William Rittenberry of Clarksville was actively involved in a vehicle pursuit with the Oak Grove Police Department from that city. The pursuit continued into Hopkinsville, where Hopkinsville police became involved around 2 a.m. The pursuit ended shortly after and Rittenberry was taken into custody.
Oak Grove police had attempted to initiate a traffic stop on Rittenberry on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Oak Grove, which is when he allegedly fled.
He is charged with fleeing or evading police and operating a vehicle on a suspended or revoked license.
