A local woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident Sunday morning on Johnson Mill Road.
It happened about 5:30 a.m. in the 11000 block of Johnson Mill Road. Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Andy Sanderson says 29-year old Brittany Dugger of Hopkinsville had been northbound when her SUV left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a culvert.
The vehicle turned sideways and came to rest partially in a ditch and partially on the road.
Dugger was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
