An Eddyville woman was severely injured in a head-on collision Saturday in Lyon County.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Department investigated and says 57-year old Janet Moore of Eddyville was pulling a small utility trailer loaded with mulch and top soil southbound on KY 93 when it began to sway back and forth.
She lost control, went into the northbound lane and struck a pickup driven by 58-year old Thomas Wyatt. That caused Wyatt’s truck to enter the southbound lanes and he collided with a vehicle operated by 50-year old Monte Keith of Madisonville.
Moore had incapacitating injuries and was flown by helicopter to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Keith and Wyatt sustained minor injuries.
