The Tennessean reports Vanderbilt University coach Jerry Stackhouse has hired Nashville native and former college head coach, Ricardo Patton, as an assistant. Patton will serve as senior adviser to Stackhouse. He worked as head coach at Colorado and Northern Illinois for 15 years and was an assistant at the University of Denver this past season.
