Murray State’s new athletics director was in town Tuesday. Kevin Saal spoke to the Hopkinsville Rotary Club and talked about his vision for Racer athletics:
The Manhattan, KS native was hired March 1st and comes to Murray from the University of Kentucky.
Also during the meeting, the annual Jerry Claiborne Awards were presented. This year’s recipients are Antonio Abren of Christian County, who will attend Murray State in the fall and Ellis Dunn of Hopkinsville, who’s going to Georgetown College this fall.
