Wrong way driver arrested for wanton endangerment

A man who was allegedly driving into oncoming traffic on Bradshaw Road Tuesday morning was arrested.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Clevin Robinson was notified of a vehicle headed south in the northbound lane. Another motorist had to slam on their brakes to avoid a head-on collision, according to the report.

When Deputy Robinson stopped 40-year old Tavares Trice of Hopkinsville, there was reportedly an odor of marijuana coming from the automobile. A search allegedly revealed two baggies of marijuana inside a lunch box.

A computer check showed his driver’s license to be suspended.

Trice was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license.
