Clarksville police are investigating two unrelated homicides from Sunday morning.
The first happened in the parking lot of the International House of Pancakes on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard at about 4:15 a.m., with officers arriving to find a 21-year old man dead from a gunshot wound. Initial investigation determined there had been an altercation between multiple people when gunshots rang out.
A suspect has been identified as 22-year old Delion Trouse, who is sought on a warrant for criminal homicide. He is considered armed and dangerous and anyone knowing his whereabouts should call Clarksville Crime Stoppers at 931-645-TIPS.
Police were still processing that scene when they received a call about 5:40 a.m. of several shots fired in the area of Sanders Road and Earl Slate Road. A 35-year old man was found dead from gunshot wounds on Earl Slate Road.
Investigators determined Joseph Morris as being a suspect and a news release says the two men knew each other. Morris was located on I-65 in the area of Elizabethtown and he was arrested. He is awaiting extradition back to Tennessee and will be charged with criminal homicide.
