Murray State women’s basketball coach Rechelle Turner announced the signing of Laci Hawthorne of New Mexico Junior College as the fourth member of her 2019-20 recruiting class Thursday. Hawthorne helped lead the Thunderbirds on a magical run to the finals of the 2019 NJCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship. Hawthorne played in all 35 games last season with six starts, averaging 9.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
