Woman arrested for meth possession

An investigation into a suspicious person Wednesday morning on Donna Drive ended with the result of a woman on methamphetamine charges.

Hopkinsville Police Officer Jeremy Davidson responded to the 300 block of Donna for a woman banging on a door and looking through windows of a home. He found 29-year old Sarah Hirth of Hopkinsville in the storage area of a carport and she said she did not know where she was, according to an arrest citation.

She appeared to be under the influence of a substance and police say methamphetamine was found on her person at the Christian County Jail and two meth pipes were located in her purse.

Hirth was charged with criminal trespassing, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, promoting contraband and public intoxication.
