About 1,500 Pennyrile Electric members in Trigg and Christian counties will be without power for about four hours early Sunday morning due to a scheduled outage.
Areas affected by the outage set to begin at 12:01 a.m. Sunday include Highway 272 East, KY Highway 124, Highway 139 north to the 6300 block, the Wallonia area and US 68 East from Cadiz to Gracey.
Pennyrile says they regret the interruption of service, but it’s necessary to perform maintenance in the Cadiz substation. The work will be postponed in the event of inclement weather.
