A Cadiz woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on Newstead Road.
Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brandon Myers investigated the crash that happened about 6:20 p.m. and the report says 22-year old Deziree Baker of Cadiz had been south near the 2 mile-marker when a deer ran into her path.
Baker swerved to miss the animal, left the road and struck a tree. She complained of pain to her side was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
