Former PGA champion Vijay Singh withdrew from this week’s PGA Championship today due to a back injury. Singh joins 2017 champion Justin Thomas in announcing he will not play the second major of the season this week. Thomas said Monday he will not play due to a lingering wrist injury.
Kentuckian JB Holmes and Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker are in the field for this event.
