Man arrested on meth, gun charges following traffic stop

A traffic stop on Skyline drive Monday night led to the arrest of a Hopkinsville man on drug and gun charges.

Twenty-nine-year-old Joshua Fox of Hopkinsville was stopped for having expired tags about 10 p.m. and a passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

An arrest citation says a K9 alerted on his car and a search revealed methamphetamine and a digital scale. A sawed-off shotgun was found in the trunk and a computer check revealed Fox is a convicted felon.

Fox was arrested by Hopkinsville police for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
