An Oak Grove man was arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with trafficking in cocaine following a traffic stop on Madisonville Road.
According to a news release from Kentucky State Police, Trooper Hunter Carroll observed a vehicle operating recklessly on Madisonville Road about five miles north of Hopkinsville. A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, 41-year old Kenneth Alexander of Oak Grove.
Investigation allegedly revealed suspected cocaine in Alexander’s possession, along with items consistent with drug trafficking in the vehicle.
Alexander was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, communication device violation, reckless driving and multiple traffic violations.
