The University of Kentucky has landed a quarterback. Sawyer Smith is a graduate transfer from Troy University. He tweeted his commitment today.
The 6 foot 3 220 pound Florida native completed 144-229 passes for 1,669 yards and 14 touchdowns along with six interceptions for the Trojans last season. He led Troy to victory over Buffalo in the Dollar General Bowl and was named the Most Valuable Player of the game. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
