South Laurel’s team of Shawn Coots and Trent Keltner won the KHSAA State Fishing Tournament Saturday at Kentucky Dam Marina. The duo caught 20 fish in the two day event with them weighing 32 pounds and 13 ounces.
Muhlenberg County’s Jackson Kulijof and Lane Tooley also caught 20 fish with them weighing 31 pounds and 11 ounces. Trigg County’s team of Chase Oglesby and Ty Meacham finished sixth with 20 fish caught with a weight of 26 pounds and 15 ounces.
Muhlenberg County’s Timmy Dorris and Coleman Bingham finishing ninth with 20 fish caught with a weight of 22 pounds and six ounces.
