Hopkinsville played a pair of game Saturday in Owensboro. The Tigers lost to Breckinridge County in the opener 12-4. Landon Snyder had two hits in three at bats for Hopkinsville while Robert Justus took the pitching loss.
In the nightcap, the Tigers rallied to defeat Owensboro Catholic 6-4 in a weather shortened game in four innings. John Duvall had two hits, including a double and Landon Snyder added a pair of hits in the victory. Preston Chadouin got the pitching win. Hopkinsville is now 18-9 on the season and hosts Hopkins Central Monday.
