As graduation nears for the Class of 2019, Todd County Central High School held their annual Senior Academic Banquet on Thursday night. The banquet, attended by students and their honored guests, recognized our outstanding students in their respective content areas. We are very proud of all our students and their achievements, both in and outside of the classroom.

2019 Todd County Central Alumni Scholarships

The Kentucky New Era and the Rotary Club select Regional Academic All-Stars from area high schools to recognize and honor seniors who are academic scholars in the classroom and who are actively engaged outside the classroom. The students receive scholarships from the Kentucky New Era and Rotary Club for participating in their respective disciplines. Gillie has received a Cherry Presidential Finalist scholarship for $48,000, a Gatton Academy Graduate Targeted award for $40,000, a Gatton Academy Graduates Research and Experiential Learning award for $12,000, and a Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship for $8000. Gillie plans to attend Mahurin Honors College at Western Kentucky University.
  • Chloe Eva Burns. Chloe has received an HCC academic scholarship for $1000. Chloe plans to attend Hopkinsville Community College.
  • Anthony Cabrera. Anthony has received a Cornelius A. Martin scholarship for $2500 per year and an academic merit scholarship for $4000 per year. Anthony plans to attend Western Kentucky University.

  • Destiny Michelle Gilbert. Destiny has received a Hopkinsville Community College scholarship for $1000. Destiny plans to attend Hopkinsville Community College and then transfer to Western Kentucky University.

On Sunday The Laity and Ministers Alliance (LAMA) of Todd County will host a Baccalaureate Service for the Graduating Senior Class of 2019. The service will begin at 5:00 pm in the TCCHS Auditorium. Easton Mitchell, a Graduating Senior of the Class of 2019 and Pastor at New Beginning Full Gospel Church will be the guest speaker. The community is invited to attend and honor the Class of 2019.
