A Hopkinsville man served with a warrant for probation violation Thursday night is facing additional charges after jail personnel allegedly found methamphetamine on his person.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Burgess had served the warrant against 35-year old Derrick Lee Maples and was called by the jail to return following a search of his person.
An arrest citation says meth and drug paraphernalia was located in Maples’ socks.
He was charged with meth and drug paraphernalia possession and promoting contraband.
