Austin Peay defeated Eastern Illinois in the opening game of a three game Ohio Valley Conference series Friday 13-9. The second game of the series is scheduled for 11 am Saturday.
Murray State split an OVC twin bill with UT Martin Friday at Reagan Field, winning game one 5-2 but falling in the nightcap 2-1. The teams will conclude the series either Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon depending upon weather conditions.
