Fourth ranked Christian County defeated Madisonville Thursday 3-1. Pickle Winkler went 2-4 for the Lady Colonels who had just five hits while Hannah Sumner picked up the pitching win allowing the Lady Maroons four hits. Christian County improved to 22-6 on the season.
There was an upset among the state’s top 10 softball teams Thursday as Hickman County edged sixth ranked McCracken County 9-8 in 8 innings.
