Additional details have been released on an accident from Tuesday afternoon that sent the driver to a Nashville hospital.
It happened about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday on Cox Mill Road near Huffman Mill Road, with the report from Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Adam Vanderkolk saying 61-year old Jinny Bollinger of Cadiz had been southbound when she had a medical episode while trying to negotiate a curve.
Her vehicle crossed the center line and struck a trailer being pulled by a pickup operated by 47-year old John Greenfield of Elkton. Greenfield took evasive action, but could not avoid the collision.
Bollinger’s automobile came to rest in a field and she was flown by Air Evac to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
