The Bowling Green Daily News reports a former Western Kentucky running back is returning to the team for the 2019 season. Quinton Baker had played for the Hilltoppers in the 2016 and 2017 seasons under former coach Mike Sanford. The Ashland native was dismissed in the spring of 2018 for “consistent violation of team rules” and played last fall at Portland State in FCS. He will be eligible immediately and have two seasons remaining, according to a WKU spokesman.
