Two Dawson Springs residents injured in Madisonville wreck

Two Dawson Springs residents were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Madisonville on Wednesday.

According to a news release, officers with the Madisonville Police Department responded to the intersection of East Center Street and South Kentucky Avenue for reports of a traffic collision. Investigation determined that a vehicle driven by 39-year old April Jennings of Dawson Springs was traveling east on East Center Street when she reportedly failed to stop at a red light.

She continued into the intersection and struck a vehicle driven by 46-year old Roy Berry of Dawson Springs. Both drivers were taken to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment.
