Hoppers announce more players for upcoming season

The Hoptown Hoppers announced 10 additions to the 2019 roster on Wednesday.

Left Hand Pitchers: Lane Diuguid, who will graduate from Christian County shortly and will play for Western Kentucky this fall, Cam Barlow, a Halls, TN native who pitches for Louisiana-Monroe, Zane Zappuhar, a pitcher-outfielder from Gonzales, LA who plays for Southeastern Louisiana and Hunter Arnold also from Southeastern Louisiana who hails from Central, LA.

Catchers: Brendan Nee of Lipscomb University who is from Olympia, Washington and Hunter Evans of Bowling Green, who plays for WKU.

Right Hand Pitchers: Sammy Butera of St. Louis University who is from Skokie, IL, Hunter Crosby of WKU who is from Dickson, TN, Clay Simpson of Erwin, TN who plays for Carson Newman and Aubrey Gillentine from Southern Miss who is from Amory, MS.

The Hoppers open the season hosting the Madisonville Miners May 31st at Hopkinsville High’s Tiger Field.
