A Dawson Springs man was arrested Tuesday morning following a vehicle pursuit.
A news release says 63-year old Jeffrey Poole of Dawson Springs disregarded a flagman holding a stop sign in a work zone on KY 112 west of Earlington just before 9 a.m.
Kentucky State Police Sgt. Nick Rice attempted to make a traffic stop, but Poole allegedly kept driving another four miles into the city of Earlington. His car eventually struck a curb and became disabled.
Poole was arrested and charged with fleeing or evading police, driving with a suspended license, disregarding a traffic control device, resisting arrest and several other offenses.
