The owner of Maximum Security is filing a lawsuit after losing his Kentucky Derby appeal to the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission. Gary West tells Fox News he’ll file the lawsuit in the appropriate jurisdiction to appeal the decision of the Churchill Downs stewards to disqualify his horse from the Derby. West blames War of Will, which ran from the number one post, for causing the problems behind Maximum Security. Country House was declared the winner.
