Christian County fell at Madisonville 7-4. The Colonels had a 4-1 lead going into the bottom of the fifth before Madisonville tied the game and then scored three times in the bottom of the 6th to get the win.Eric Silvy and Jase Polley each had two hits for Christian County with starter Wyatt Stevenson taking the pitching loss as the Colonels are now 13-9 on the season and host Caldwell County today.
Hopkinsville downed Logan County 14-11 in Russellville Monday. John Duvall had four hits including a home run and drove in three runs for the Tigers with Ryan Myers also hitting a home run. Zach Caudill got the pitching win for Hopkinsville, now 15-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Ohio County today.
University Heights blanked Ohio County 2-0 thanks to a complete game victory from Drew McGowan. The Mississippi State signee allowed just four hits and struck out eight. Tanner Thomas and Zach Naylor each had two hits for the Blazers, who improved to 12-13 on the season. UHA plays at Hopkins Central today.
Fort Campbell lost a pair of games at Trigg County, both by 10-0 scores with one in five innings, the other in three innings. The Falcons are now 3-13 on the season and host Todd Central Wednesday.
