The Christian County Relay for Life is fast approaching on June 7 and the deadline to turn in advertisements and memorial luminaries is on May 21.
Relay Chair Pam Futrell says this year’s theme for Relay is ‘Relay Through the Decades’ and festivities begin at 6 p.m. on June 7, with a slew of activities and food offered by approximately 40 teams—all of whom are raising money for the cause.
Futrell says the deadline to purchase luminaries to honor a loved one is May 21—lanterns are $20 and bags are $5.
She says the majority of the funds raised during Relay will stay local, to help those battling cancer in their fight against it.
