Shots fired investigation leads to arrest on multiple felonies

An investigation into shots fired on Billy Goat Hill Road Saturday evening led to the arrest of a man in Hopkinsville on multiple charges.

Christian County sheriff’s deputies were responding to the report of a man firing his gun out of an automobile window and a description of the vehicle was given by dispatchers to local police.

Hopkinsville police officers located the truck driven by 33-year old Michael Robertson near North Main Street and Glass Avenue.

Further investigation by both agencies led to Robertson being arrested for first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of methamphetamine, using restricted ammunition during commission of a felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an open alcohol container and promoting contraband.

He was also served with a warrant for contempt of court.
