A single-vehicle accident Friday morning on Major Lane injured the driver.
It happened about 10:30 a.m. and the report from Public Safety Officer Cassidy Woods says 37-year old Christopher Brown of Hopkinsville had been southbound when his car began to drift off the right side of the roadway in a curve.
He tried to correct his path, but struck a utility pole.
Brown was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for injuries.
His passengers did not require a trip to the hospital.
