The Bowling Green Hot Rods fell to the Peoria Chiefs 2-1 Friday night in Peoria. The Hot Rods will become the Bootleggers for Saturday night’s game with the Chiefs who will be the Distillers in the “Battle of the Barrel” contest.
The Memphis Redbirds pounded out 24 hits in a 17-2 drubbing of the Nashville Sounds Friday night at First Tennessee Park. The teams play again Saturday night.
