This year’s Leadership Hopkinsville-Christian County class chose the Trail of Tears Park as its location for its community project.
Bradford Carroll with Leadership says the class voted and chose the Trail of Tears as a great place for them to make an impact.
Carroll says they made some major improvements to the park that are noticeable as soon as you arrive at the facility off East Ninth Street.
They also added mulch in the landscape, pulled weeds and made significant improvements inside the Trail of Tears cabin.
