Water Festival returns to Jeffers’ Bend

Jeffers’ Bend Environmental Center representatives are excited to announce the return of the Water Festival on May 11 and the public is invited to attend.

The free to attend event will take place from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on May 11 at the center’s location on Metcalfe Lane in Hopkinsville and will feature a slew of games, activities and educational booths. According to a news release, the festival focuses on the importance of the water cycle for the planet, teaching kids and adults both about how vital the water cycle of planet earth is for everyone in this community and everywhere.

Attendees will learn how to conserve, and be responsible to keep waters clean and pure.
