A traffic stop on Greenville Road in Todd County Monday afternoon led to the arrest of a woman on methamphetamine charges.
Todd County Sheriff’s Sgt. Patrick Turner stopped 50-year old Phyllis Ford of Lewisburg near Heltsley Lane for a traffic violation, according to an arrest citation, which says she did not have a driver’s license in her possession and gave consent to search her car.
As she got out of the vehicle, she reportedly produced a small container from her pocket that had a small amount of methamphetamine inside.
Ford was arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, license to be in possession and failure to use a turn signal.
