Two Adairville residents were injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Logan County Sunday evening in the 2200 block of Schley Road.
According to a news release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded for reports of a wreck and found 58-year old George Witt of Adairville laying in a driveway with a head injury near the scene. A second vehicle, driven by 22-year old Christian Stratton of Adairville, was located further up the roadway.
Investigation determined that Stratton had reportedly dropped an item in her vehicle while taking a left-hand turn and she attempted to retrieve it. During the turn, she reportedly struck Witt’s vehicle head-on, causing his vehicle to overturn and come to a stop on its roof.
Witt was transported to Logan Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threating injuries, with Stratton going to Bowling Green Medical Center by private vehicle for minor injuries.
